Bird’s Farm Facilities
Swimming Pool
Our onsite 30ft by 15ft pool captures the sun, being enclosed on three sides by a wall and a fence with a gate on the other side.
We open the pool from 31st May to September. If the weather is good, we may open earlier or later at our discretion.
Access to the pool is via steps at the shallow end or the ladder at the deep end. The shallow end has a depth of 3 feet, which gradually increases to a maximum of 6 feet 3 inches. Sun loungers and parasols are provided. The pool is for residents use only.
Games Room
Despite being in one of the driest parts of the country, it does sometimes rain!
So on those days, why not use our games room which is located on the first floor.
It has a pool table, small table football, selection of board games, books and toys.
Gardens
The mature gardens are a mixture of grass, shrubs and flower beds. Whether you wish to relax, have a BBQ or play, there is space for all guests.
Laundry
The laundry is equipped with a coin operated washing machine and dryer. A washing line is also available.
Reception Hallway
Cots, High Chairs, Bed Guards & Stair Gates
These are available free of charge on request, subject to availability.
Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for guests.
Barbecues
We have a couple of barbecues available for guest use, at no extra cost. Please supply your own food and charcoal.
Courtyard
The courtyard is a communal area with some seating and tables. Well lit and enclosed it provides access to four cottages.
Car Park
We have a large car park, just in front of the main barn. Although gravel covered, it has a firm base.
